Igloo Profile
Hello!
I'm Alessandro, an Italian 20yo student living in Milan. Ever since forever I've been amazed at the vastness of our world and at all the beauty it contains and I've been wanting to visit so many parts of it. At some point along the way, I stumbled upon the UNESCO WHS list and now I can't shut up about it, much to the dismay of all my friends and family. I mean, a list containing the most emblematic places for every country on earth is a geography nerd's dream. Sadly, being only a university student, my finances are not that big to afford frequent trips to visit WHS, but every time I plan a trip with friends or family I take the time to check what WHS I could manage to visit. I'm really happy to have found this community to share with people my passion for this register of the human experience.

Crespi d'Adda
Igloo Italy - 21-Dec-24
I visited Crespi D'Adda on the 20th of December this year. I had been thinking about this day trip for quite a while and, now that I have finished my exams, I took a day for myself to explore this little town just over an hour from where I live. I got off at the wrong bus stop and walked half an hour to reach it (a time it would have taken me even at the right stop). First advice: don't visit in December like I did because you're going to miss much of the experience! Most of insude spaces (like the hydroelectric central or the Crespi house) are closed from December to February and are only available through guided tours from March to November. Still, I had quite the good time
